Proposed By-Law Changes - vote at General Meeting Jan. 9, 2012

Current wording of 1st By-law:
Section 3 - Classification of Members B. Active Junior Members shall be those under eighteen (18) years of age who have paid the prescribed fee. AND During their 19th year of age, Junior members may apply their $25.00 Junior Membership fee to an Active Membership.

Proposed Change:
"Active Junior Members shall be twenty-one (21) years of age and under as of January first (1st) who have paid the one-time prescribed fee, and that prior to turning twenty-two (22) years of age, the Junior member may apply his/her $25 fee toward an Active membership."


Current wording of 2nd By-law:
Section 4 - Officers and Directors B.Duties of Directors
1. Only Active paid up members in good standing, may be Directors.

Proposed Change:
"1. Only Active paid up members in good standing, who own and breed registered Tarentaise cattle and support the ATA by participation in the CHR program, may be elected or appointed to a Director position."

Special Note On Transfers: Transfers require the signature of the owner seller, name & address of new owner(s), & date of sale. Breeding information must be provided on exposed/bred females, and for "calf at the side".
